Palmelle is a brand for the second half of life in the United States: products, services and straight answers. What this site collects, and why
- Page activity. Which pages you open on this site, the page you came from, any campaign tags in the link you followed, your browser type, the time, and your internet address with its last part removed. Sent to Palmelle's own systems; used to see which towns and pages help families, and to attribute an inquiry to the site it came from. No advertising trackers. No cookies are set for this.
- Aggregate traffic. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
- What you send us. If you take the assessment, start Help Me Choose or the home safety assessment, or write to us, the details you give (name, email, phone, the situation you describe) are kept so we can do the work you asked for.
- Calls. (888) 282-PALM is answered by an automated assistant around the clock and, when needed, by a person. Calls are recorded and transcribed so the next person you speak to knows what you said. If you do not want a call recorded, say so at the start and write to us instead.
- Operator listings. If you run a licensed facility and claim a listing, the details you provide (photos, description, contact, pet policy) are published as you gave them, with the date you gave them.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not give a family's details to any facility unless the family asks us to make an introduction. We do not run advertising trackers or Google Analytics on this site. We do not take placement fees from any facility.
Where the facility facts come from
Facility names, licences, bed counts, designations, licensing surveys and complaint findings are public records of the Minnesota licensing agency, reproduced here as reconciled by Palmelle on the date shown in the footer (2026-09-15). The agency's own record controls. Cost figures are sourced medians, named where they appear; they are not quotes. Pet policy is shown only when an operator confirmed it, with who said it and when. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any sharing. Residents of California, Minnesota, Oregon, Maryland, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws have those rights by statute, and we honour them for everyone, whether or not a statute requires it of a company our size. Write to privacy@palmelle.com; we answer within 45 days and do not ask you to create an account to exercise a right.
Retention
Page activity: 24 months. Inquiries, assessments and call records: until the work is finished and for two years after, or sooner on request. Operator listings: for the life of the listing.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Terms
By using this site you agree that its facility data is a reproduction of public records that may lag the agency's own, that cost figures are medians not quotes, and that services purchased from Palmelle are governed by Palmelle's terms at palmelle.com/terms.
